Thinking of moving to another clinic

Hi all, I have just found out that my second FET resulted in yet another BFN. It is incredibly sad and I have no tears left. I am considering whether to move to another clinic, as I am not very happy with how our current clinic (abroad) dealt with things. I am aware it is not possible to write publicly about clinics, but was wondering if anyone here had experiences with IVI and/or CREATE Fertility in London. If so, could you please tell me about your experience and if you recommend them in pm?

I don't have any experience of clinics in the South I'm afraid. But I'm so sorry your FET hasn't worked. It's so hard to process and deal with 💔 If you're feeling unhappy with your clinic I think it's good to change. I don't think we'd be able to afford any more rounds after the one we have still to use, as part of a 2-cycle deal. But if we need it (praying to God we don't 😢) and IF we can find any more funds, I've thought about going abroad. So hard to know where to go though!! A real minefield. So sorry about that this round wasn't THE round for you X

I’ve heard good things about Create but don’t have any personal experience of it. You should definitely move if you’re not happy with the clinic. This is such a stressful process and you need to feel happy with the treatment and care you are getting otherwise there is always that “what if?” hanging over you. Good luck for the next round whatever you decide x

Hi, Dila7!

I saw your message and I hope that I can help you choose a clinic based on my personal experience. I have had similar problems in the past (tons of problems with FET, awful treatment at the clinic - they even directly said it was our fault that we could not have a baby!). So if you feel like changing your clinic is the deal - you probably should do it!

Not sure if this is too late but I had a terrible experience at IVI London. I felt like I had no dignity or privacy. I’m sure this doesn’t count as advertising as I certainly wouldn’t advertise them.

I’m massively surprised to read this as I’m a patient there, I was with another clinic previously (who were awful) and IVI were amazing in comparison. I never felt like I had no dignity or privacy at all, infact quite the opposite. All the staff have always been incredibly kind and it was a much more personal experience compared to my previous clinic. We also had hugely better results with them.

I understand everyone’s experience is different but just really surprised to see you felt like this x
