Think I might be having another missed miscarriage!

I am feeling very nervous right now as this is my forth pregnancy with previous three ending in miscarriage!

In the last couple of days my breast are no longer sore and I don't feel bloated any more. The only symptom left is frequent peeing!

All my miscarriages have been missed miscarriages so have had very little warning, but losing symptoms has been one of the signs!

My only hope is this one was as a result of IVF, so I'm hoping the loss of bloating etc might just be my ovaries finally settling down after all the IVF drugs ( I was bloated by half-way though stimulation).

Has anyone experienced this after IVF or just in non-IVF pregnancy, and still been pregnant?

Hi Bluebird, can you get your HCG levels tested. You’re right in that the loss of symptoms can be as a result of the medication wearing off but knowing for sure may help to alleviate your anxiety. Hope all is well...x

Thanks for your reply. I have an ultrasound on the 6th, so just need to try and stay calm til then! I am really clining to the hope it is just the IVF bloating going...but I have a horrible feeling it's not that!

You’re welcome. Yes please try to stay calm. Pregnancy hormones can fluctuate and the medication can have an effect too. I also had so many symptoms coming and going and even now my boobs are sore on and off. I’m sorry for your previous losses and hope all goes well with this pregnancy. You deserve it...x

Yes this happens at the begining alot. Some days i felt pregnanat and other days i found my self feeling torally normal and convinced that I am no longer pregnant. All was well both times and I too had several miscarriages concieved naturally previous and in between my successful pregnancies. Good luck hopefully all os fine in there.

Thank you, that's so good to hear. Sorry about your miscarriages. But great to see you've had success amongst them x

Hi Bluebird,

I have spent the last 10 days worried. I have had no symptoms what so ever. No sore boobs, no sickness, no fatigue. Literally nothing. (I did cry one morning, but I’m sure that was genuine worry)

My personality was flat so yesterday we rang a private scanner and they scanned us later that day. I was so sure I wasn't pregnant. But that little seedling was moving about with a healthy heart beat and looking like they were very settled! I’m now 9 weeks 4 days.

The no symptoms drama - some would say was lucky - but with that comes so much doubt.

I wish you a happy scan - you’ll be a new person afterwards :) xx

Check your folate ,vitamin b12,iron,vit D ,magnesium levels .Unbeknown to Drs low vitamin b12 levels can cause infertility, frequent miscarriages, foetal abnormalities.Any level below 500 requires suppliments .Once pregnant or breastfeeding it should be kept 700 otherwise babe will be deficient.

Thank you for the advice . I think my vitamin levels are okay, I've been taking a pre-natal multi vitamin for years now. Also one of my bloods test for recurrent miscarriage showed very high vitamin B12 levels, so much so doctor told me to stop taking them! So now I just take folate and vitamin D!

Just wanted to say thanks again ladies for all your reassurance. I had my scan this morning, saw a lovely strong heartbeat and it's measuring perfect at 8 weeks 5 days! So happy and relieved. I have another scan in 11 days so that's great too! xx
