Sorry, another question - when moving from an NHS clinic to a private clinic - are baseline tests repeated? (all screening, scans etc.) Conscious that this would add to time and cost, so thinking would be best to stay with current clinic on that basis. I'm not sure if the medical record would be accepted if taken across?
Thanks

Your tests are usually repeated as they like screening for example to be valid within a certain time frame. My bloods etc are only valid for 6 months. I did however get a copy of my NHS notes to give to my new clinic which I think was around £25.xx
Hi there, I had to get a copy of my medical notes from my nhs clinic and give them to my private clinic. They will then check if any further testing needs to be done, but no I didnt have to have any more blood tests done, I had a new AFC scan done but that was because it had been 6 months. Best of luck xx
I got a copy of my NHS records which can take a few weeks. Your new clinic will go through your records and decide which tests you need to do according to their policy. For example at my current clinic blood tests for virus screening is only valid for 6 months. Which means if there are 6 months between transfers you’ll have to redo the tests, in our case for both of us even though we had frozen embryos. It’s best to arrange a chat with your preferred clinic and they’ll talk you through it all. Good luck Xx
You will have to request in writing all of the info that you need. We did this via email. ( I hand write a letter requesting it and both my husband and I had to sign and give permission for the request.
I emailed a screen shot of the letter and this was enough)
Contact the nhs clinic ASAP as they have 30 days to give you your info. It took 20 days to get mine. Then I had to go with my passport to collect it.
As we moved quickly to private before nhs our info and tests weren’t repeated .
The only extra they asked for was a rubella blood test for me and my gp carried this out for me. Hope this helps 👌🏻😘💐
