Hi everyone, i'm new to this site and have just started my first round of IUI after 2 years of trying naturally. I started using Gonal-f injections on Wednesday and have noticed that i'm extremely teary and subject to more mood swings than normal. I'm not sure whether this is a side effect to the drug or just me being a bit hyper sensitive due to the excitement/anticipation of starting the process. Has anyone else had experience with using Gonal-f and if so did you feel this way too?

I’m also new to this site, From what I’ve her. Told by friends yes that’s normal lovely, my fertility doctor says ‘ I’m adding hormones on top of your own so just try not to feel to overwhelmed’ ( easier said than done right 😂
I also started iui in May and I’m due to get inseminated this weekend So excited 😃
I’ve been on letrozole 5 days and 3 injections of Meriofert 150 m , I think I’ll be having the ganasi injection to trigger surge, I’m just feeling so bloated nothing fits literally cannot fit into my tights, I’m ichy, feel sick, so teary today I just want to know am I normal 😊
Totally normal! As is the bloating, light cramps/discomfort and lack of energy. What helped me was a bit of sports/moving, loads of water and floaty dresses. Try to do nice things for yourself and don't expect yourself to totally function as usual. I did 3 rounds iui and 2 of them were back to back and I really needed a break after that. Is not easy but hopefully totally worth it. Good luck for your cycle!
Glad to know it's not just me then 😊 I do a bit of yoga so that's been helping me out, have had a bit of cramp/discomfort but have just been sitting with hot water bottle on to help out. Definitely all worth it tho 😊 thank u x
