I have been doing a bit of research before we see our consultant in a couple of weeks regarding our failed cycle as I am gathering as much information before hand. Regarding supplements I am taking proceive and I feel I am missing something extra. Has anyone found a supplement to be most of benefit for egg quaility and if so what strength. Some of them are quite low in percentage on the ingredients I have noticed. Thank you 😊 xx

Ubiquinol - higher dose the better. 100-200mg daily at least, or 300-600 for low amh or poor egg quality. Plus inositol - controls blood sugar to help egg quality xx
Thats great. Thank you for that. I have just had a look online with the 100mg dosage. It says only once a day. Is there a higher dose out there or can you take a few spaced out. Confused.com haha. Thanks Xx
I saw a massive change after taking supplements. I just following the advice from it’s All About the Egg. I used a good multivitamin, dhea, coq10, melatonin. I got mine off line from the us and the shipping was quite quick x
I used FertilitySmart which is a brand of supplements - but it is one tablet that includes everything that the book “it starts with the egg” suggests you take for IVF incl. Coq10. My husband takes the male version alongside proxeed. We both also take an extra Vitamin D supplement.
I have low AMH for someone of my age. I can’t tell you if it made a difference but we got 7 eggs and 100% fertilisation, with 6 making it to blastocysts. I’ve started on the same supplements again to prepare for another egg collection (I usually stop them after egg collection and swap to just folic acid and vitamin D). I also was doing reflexology alongside treatment, and started that up again too.
Hi I started inofolic alpha (myoinositol) about a year ago when read it was good for pcos. Then read ISWTG around 4 months ago and, for my age 39 & pcos type issue, I decided on 400mg kaneka ubiqinol (200 am, 200 pm), 200iu vit E, 600mg NAC, 240mg R Lipoic acid, acai and 2000iu vit d, I recently added PQQ. Also a prenatal multivitamin throughout. Doing retrieval next week so hoping this has all paid off! Husband has low count so he is on proxeed plus in am and an impryl in pm as well as vit d (when he remembers/I bug him 😅). we eat enough oily fish to get dietary omegas.
Ubiquinol- 400mg daily Health thru nutrition (bought off Amazon)
-Vitamin D -1000iu, Vitabiotics (bought off Amazon)
-Vitamin e - 400iu Nature's aid (bought off Amazon)
-Folic acid -400ugz, Nature's aid (bought off Amazon)
-Iron, liquid form- 2 tea spoons a day, Vitabiotics, feroglobin( Bought from boots)
-Vitamin c / zinc -100mg/15mg (Bought from Tesco);
-Omega 3 - 1000mg (Bought from Tesco)
My wife started these changes almost 4 months ago, as it says it can take 90 days to improve egg quality
She has her second retrieval monday. I will let you know once her eggs have turned to blastocysts if these changes have helped. Her first egg collection the quality wasn't the best x
