First joint consultation

Hi everyone. My husband and I are provisionally starting IVF treatment (NHS funded) in June/July. I’ve had my AMH test/BMI check done and have all my results and details of the protocol I’ll be on. We’ve just received an appointment through for a face to face consultation for both of us at the end of May. It doesn’t say what it’s for, but I assume it must be the blood tests for viruses? Can anyone tell me what usually happens after this appointment? Sorry, I’m clueless on the steps of this process! Thank you

Hi, I’m sure others on this site will have ideas but it may be to go through all of the consent paperwork.x

Thank you. Our clinic has moved consent paperwork online due to covid so I think we’ve signed all the documents x

Hi DancingPanda usually they just explain the procedure again and discuss any questions/concerns you may have. During our appointment, they checked my weight and blood pressure again as it had been a while since initial checks were completed. We also had to do a test to confirm we were not smokers as that was part of the conditions for nhs eligibility.
