Hi, after my first ever ICSI I tested first thing this morning with FMU & a FRER & got a BFN😢
I’m really just looking for info on what may be next for me, I have one 5ab frostie & I’m entitled to 3 rounds with GRI.
I’m just wondering what the process is like for FET and if anyone has any advice on any supplements they took or any tests they asked for before they got their BFP? I am unexplained infertility & my partner has a low sperm count with low mobility. I already took quite a lot of supplements/ate healthily/light walking/drank pomegranate juice & ate pineapple during my 2ww. I even slept with socks on to keep my feet warm😅
I have had loads of symptoms during my 2ww incl nausea, feeling warmer, sore breasts, lower back pain, feeling dizzy, cramps, waking up during the night and vivid dreams. I know some symptoms will be down to the progesterone.
Sorry for the long post I guess I’m just wondering if there’s anything I’ve done wrong or could’ve done to help it stickðŸ˜

Hi aquarius88You did everything right and more during your treatment cycle .And all the symptoms you had during you 2ww were perfectly normal Wishing you good luck with your future treatments
Oh love, don't blame yourself - there is nothing you could have done. Its all about everything coming together at the right time in the right conditions, and it's not an exact science - so although we feel like we've done everything we can, and it still doesn't work - it's frustrating and heartbreaking. There is every chance that you 5AB will stick next time. Try to take a bit of time out to do something nice and treat yourself, then crack on with number 2. Wishing you lots of luck xx
Thanks so much for taking the time to reply...& thank you for your kind words it definitely takes it’s toll when it doesn’t work out, I’ve literally went over everything I did/didn’t do & wondered if it was correct. I’m just focusing on keeping going with my other embryo...thanks again I really appreciate it xx
I think it’s doubly hard too on the first try because you have so much hope and positivity that it will work, and you don’t really consider the possibility that it might not (well I didn’t anyway) so it knocked me sideways. But so many people have luck on the 2nd try so hold on to that and keep going xxx
