BFN 9dp5dt

Hi everyone. I've been testing negative since 6dp5dt but I was hoping that might change on 9dp5dt. I know I shouldn't be testing early but I've been so anxious with this second cycle! My OTD is on Wed. Has anyone had a BFN on 9dp5dt and then gone on to having a BFP at 11dp5dt? I'm feeling so upset as I don't feel it'll change by Wed 😔. I've already started planning in my head my third fresh cycle 😔. Best of luck to you all wherever you are in your journey xxx

Hi Lindt. Just carry on using any prescribed medication, and all we can do is test at the correct time stated by your clinic. Good luck and I shall be thinking of you. Hopefully it can still work. Diane

A day or two or three or four can make all the difference. I tested and got a bfn, the next day bfp. If it's positive it has to change at some point so why not 11dp5dt. Everyone is different and your body and how it works is unique to you. Stay in a positive mindset as it can all change xxx

Thank you for the encouragement Holly, I really hope it does. I guess I'm just comparing it to my last cycle when I got a faint BFP at 7dp5dt. I just feel if it's going to be a positive, it should've changed by now. I'm sure implantation occurs 2/3 after transfer and that should give enough time for it to show up on HPTs xxx

I was exactly the same! I tested bfn at the same stage as my first bfp and it wasn't until days later I got my bfp. Keep hope in your head. If this doesn't work its a few less days that you will have to feel sad. I have my fingers crossed for you Xxx

No good I'm afraid my test was today but my period started yesterday, so we were not surprised by our BFN.

I'll enjoy a few drinks over Xmas and start again in the new year. x

So sorry to hear that. You were 9dp5dt today weren't you? I don't understand how some clinics say 9 and some say 11. What if, like some people have said, you get a BFN on 9dp5dt and then BFP on 11dp5dt? I sometimes wonder if 11dp5dt is too early as well as some claim to have a BFP on 14dp5dt! It's difficult to judge when you don't have a period in your tww. I guess if you have a period then that confirms a BFN. Best of luck to you in the New Year xxx

My clinic said if my bleed was particularly light then I should test in a few days, but I know its over and we will need to start again. Fingers crossed for you, I hope you get better news in a few days xx
