Stopping medication

Hi everyone,

When you get to your 12 week scan do you stop taking your utrogestan and progynova?

Yes that’s right, though many clinics say to stop earlier- around week 10.

Mine told me to stop at 10 but because I was afraid (previous miscarriages), they’ve agreed I can continue until 12 weeks.

Loads of people do stop earlier though and have no problem whatsoever.

That’s great thank you! I was a bit nervous about just stopping the medication but If people sometimes stop earlier it’s put my mind at ease a bit xx

Hi lovely, my hospital advised to start reducing the meds on week 10 then less again on week 11 so in the 12th week I stopped taking altogether xx

Hi there, thank you. Perhaps I’ll call my clinic and see if they want me to come off them slowly or not xx
