First time using utrogestan

I'm booked in for my 2nd FET on Wednesday! Due to start progesterone tonight.

I've only used cyclogest before, but this time the clinic has given me utrogestan.

Does anyone have any experience of using it? Is it as messy as cyclogest?

I have to use it 3 times a day, so am a bit concerned about doing it in work...

Thank you in advance 😚

Xx

Hi I’ve used both and found utrogestan less messy. Have you got the one with an applicator?

I've used Utrogestan for three FETs before. The work bit can be managed by just doing your best to sit for 30 minutes after your lunchtime pessary. If you have an active job it might be worth speaking with your manager so that an adjustment can be made to allow you to do this. Good luck!! X

Thank you! I've always done the cyclogest pessary lying down, so I need to get used to doing this one standing, to make it practical at work. Found it really awkward this morning, but I'm sure it'll get easier!! X

Yeah, you'll get into the rhythm of it, it won't take long!! I had it down after a week or so. Xx
