Is it ok to have sex 1 week after embryo transfer?

Please tell me if its okay to have sex 7 days after embryo transfer? (Eggs retrieval was 9 days ago) was a 2 day fresh transfer. Do you think having sed can interfere with implantation? Please any thoughts or advice?

I was told by my clinic not to, to wait at least until pregnancy test. X

I was told not to for two weeks after egg collection. I think this is to prevent infection rather than it having anything to do with implantation xx

We’ve been told not to and wait during the two weeks wait, even though we were doing a frozen transfer... as far as I understand it’s to do with implantation, however every clinic could advice differently. Good luck xx

I was told to carry on as normal (including intercourse) however I chose not to in my 2WW xxx

I've been told it helps, particularly 2-3 days after transfer as it re-familiarises embie with partners DNA again and assures it's safe stuff.

My clinic said it was fine after an FET if we wanted to so I imagine with fresh cycles of advice is not to it’s more so to do with infection risk. I imagine after 7 days you’ll be fine, your cervix will have closed its self back up x
