Is it ok to get a massage after embryo transfer?
Definitely not! Sorry!! You’re classed as pregnant, and now shouldn’t have any massage before 12 weeks, after which you can have pregnancy massages only xx
Your clinic will be able to advice x
Not at all ! Even if someone says “it’s upto you or it’s alright” - pls do not. It’s a very sensitive phase and any wrong massage or movement can affect the outcome.
My clinic and ob said it was perfectly fine, just don’t let them massage the stomach. They also said most massages are completely fine when pregnant, it’s just that they don’t want to be liable if something happens. So check with your own clinic, as they are your experts x
It depends on the type of massage, most massage therapists avoid pregnant customers as it can release chemicals and toxins and it also touches on key nerves or points in the body that can adversely affect your pregnancy.
Look it up, see how you feel but don't be surprised if some therapists suggest after 12 weeks.
I have always been advised its not a good idea in early pregnancy. I guess its a personal choice, you have invested a lot in IVF, is it worth the risk for the sake of a massage? I guess everyone is different...
Don't do it.
I would strongly advise against it. Not at all worth taking the risk.
No don't get a massage leave it until second trimester.
It’s not advised to have massage in the first trimester, bad pregnancy massage only after that. I think you could have Accupunture during this time for relaxation? Xx
