Hi, I'm on day 8 of my second transfer of 2 early blastocysts and did an ultra early pregnancy test this morning which was negative. This happened last time and I'm wondering if I should stop medication. Anyone have a positive result after a negative on day 8?

Does anyone know if an early blastocyst takes longer to implant?
Hi lovely! Honesty I wouldn’t stop the meds now, it’s way too early. I had an early blastocyst transferred and was convinced it didn’t work so tested earlier at day 9 and was positive- although people are different so you might still get your positive.Carry on until your official test day given by your clinic and good luck! 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
Hi,Thanks for your response. It's great to hear you had a positive response from an early blastocyst. I don't have a test date from my clinic. They're pretty diabolical at communications. If I don't chase them for everything, I don't hear from them. Was going to rely on a home test, so I never have to deal with them again.
Hello like Toughcookie78 said everyone is different so just hang in there. I did a fresh 5 day transfer and my official test day was 9 days from date of transfer. With regard to implantation it’s usually on day 6 or 7. And this is because the embryo has only x amount of nutrition and energy to sustain itself. So by day 6/7 it needs an initial food supply and by day 8 it needs a firmer hold on that supply. Hence implantation happens in 2 phases.
Just hang in there. You have no reason to believe this didn’t work for you so do not stop your medication. Sometimes it can still be a positive but maybe the test isn’t as sensitive or the hormone levels are not high enough to be detected. Just hang in there. Fingers crossed for you!
