Early blastocysts
Yes, me! I had an early blast transferred on 19th October and currently 8 weeks 5 days pregnant xx
Congrats and thank you for responding!!! Tell me everything:). I have had this embryos frozen for the last 2 years. I actually forgot it was an early blastocyst. I was 38 when it was made and after a few cycles failed/unsuccessful I am considering transferring it. Am 40 now. What do you think??
Hey Leo.
I can’t see why it wouldn’t work, it worked for me. Mine was ungraded so I didn’t know the quality of it. I have one in the freezer from the same ‘batch’ which was frozen on day 6 and is now an expanded blastocyst.
It’ll be better in your uterus and the right environment to grow and attach. Also it’s always the ones you least expect !! xx
Thank you! An early blastocyst is usually the ungraded ones. Mine was frozen at day 5. It could potentially start to develop further once thawed. But my little heart is too afraid to hope...
I get that. Why don’t you see how it thaws? xx
Looks like it is booked for the 2 Dec for a thaw. We are having it PGA tested. What do you think. I am nervous it’s my only on me left....
Hey Leo1980, is an early blast one classed as like a 2 or 3? X
Hi Peanutchips - it’s a 2/2 if that means anything...what do you think? It was frozen on day 5 maybe early afternoon so perhaps if it survives the thaw it might turn into a blastocyst which can be graded?
Hey lovely, I think there’s always a chance isn’t there! My friend had two embryos put back before they reached blastocyst stage and she now has healthy toddler twins. Perhaps another option (if you can face it) is another collection and transfer that alongside another embryo for added chance? Xx
