Update!! Hugely shocked that there’s a 4AA and 3x4BB going for biopsy this morning. Plus an additional three if they grow enough. I was absolutely convinced this would not end well. My gut feeling about this was bad and it tends to be right.
I’m so fed up and flat - from eight 8 cell grade 1 embryos on day three we had one 4BB blastocyst biopsied today (PGTA) and the rest were 3x morulas and 4x early blastocysts.
This afternoon I received an update to say they’d successfully frozen the 4BB after biopsy and the morulas were now early blastocysts. She said the earlier blastocysts from this morning were moving in the right direction and although she’s hopeful, she cannot guarantee there will be anything suitable for biopsy tomorrow.
I just feel so defeated and tired. I don’t sleep well between egg collection and the embryology updates. No real point to this post other than to write as a way to help process.
I just wish I could fast forward to tomorrow! Big glass of wine needed this evening I think.
If anyone else has been in this situation before comments and advice welcome! xx
