I’m having my frozen embryo transfer on Monday but feel a cold coming on. Not aches and shivers , more a runny nose. My first born has has had it. I’m freaking out that having a cold could affect things. Any advice, words to calm , previous experience of this would be hugely appreciated.
Thank you!!

I had a real bad cold on the transfer that gave me my daughter. Check though if the transfer can go ahead if they judge it as Covid symptoms. Maybe get tested to prove it’s not? Lots of ginger and citrus fruit! Hope you can nip it in the butt
Thank you for this! That gives me hope! I’ve just been tested so it’s not covid. Just a bugger as I’ve been feeling so well for ages! I guess I’ve just got to relax . What will be will be ... this is my relaxed face 😬 😂😂😂 xxx
I know... you’re probably run down from all IVF stresses on your system, or it’s just Murphy’s law. I’d warn the clinic up front if you have cold symptoms they’ll notice, to prevent nasty surprises when you show up. Hope you’ll recover swiftly!
I read that it doesn’t affect anything and in fact there is some evidence (although not solid/verified) that your body focusing on fighting your cold can mean it doesn’t attack the embryo as a foreign body so could potentially help with implantation part.... xx
