Hi! I'm still new over here. Can someone give me any tips on how to improve egg quality, any supplements etc. I started the nasal spray, but I've started in a different way. I suffer from PCOS and don't have a period since September, I went for a scan on Thursday and was told to start with the spay the following day, and also ended up having an endometrial biopsy ( I think that's how you say it) So back to the subject, it might be a bit too late for the question now, but any idea on how to improve egg quality is much appreciated, as my last ICSI didn't work, embryologist said maybe because of my age and egg quality. Thank you in advance!

How to improve egg quality!?
Hi Elisabete, If you can start right now then it should help a bit! Ubiquinol 400mg a day, Omega and N-Acetyl Cysteine 200mg per day are all really good for egg quality (and sperm quality too). x
Hello there, unfortunately egg quality is very much down to age and can’t really be improved, if not marginally with the aid of supplements...worth a shot though! Good luck 🤞🏻 🍀
Hi Elisabete. You can improve egg quality by adding protein and zinc to your diet. Acupuncture and hypnotherapy also have been known to improve blood flow to the ovaries. Hope that helps a little. Diane
I think I massively improved my egg quality with 600mg ubiquinol daily, pqq, dhea, inositol, and wheatgrass (along with extra protein and zinc and good quality multi!)
Although I’m not qualified in any way, from my own research, the inositol helps stabilise blood sugar and gives eggs a better environment to mature in (less sugar spikes), ubiquinol protects cells from free radicals and is an antioxidant (also protects in may other ways), pqq enhances the effect of the ubiquinol, wheatgrass lowers fsh, and dhea increases testosterone which is often lower with lower reserves and helps egg quality.
I did start spontaneously conceiving once I kept my supplements steady (but turns out my tube was blocked and I think I had more than one ectopic).
I’m also a big believer in reflexology if you can find a repro-flexoligist xx
I just realised you said you have pcos, that means a no to dhea. If you’re already starting your drug protocol anyway, then protein, inositol, ubiquinol, zinc and a good multi with folate may be best!x
I’m interested in this too. Does anyone know the difference between ubiquinol and coq10??? I thought they were the same I’m so confused 🤣 what does the inositol do??
I took CoQ10 for about two years before egg retrieval. Also ate loads of salmon and avocado and drank whole milk during stims. Now pregnant at 41 despite one clinic rejecting me because my numbers looked too bad, back in 2018.
