Hello dears,

So i had egg retrieval last week and only got 2 matured eggs,1 fertilized but stopped to develop on the next day,so the circle got cancelled. The embryologist said something about the egg not good quality.Any advise for supplements to use? I have used coq 10,dhea,vit D,vit E,and prenatal for this previous circle.

Dear, I’m also facing same issue as you do. Had some advice from this group to read about the book “it all starts with the egg”. I see your supplements seem quite covered the book. How long have you been on these supplements? I read mostly take 3-4m to see any improvement. Hopefully we’ll resolve the dilemma in 3M. Xx. Lots of luck.

Hi KHMSJ. Of course, you can try different supplements, but run them by your specialist first, so that you don't overload your poor liver. Good luck! Diane

I had similar issues, my egg quality was very poor. You can read my story in my profile. Speak to your consultant about supplements. Did they advise on the DHEA you are taking? How long have you been on it? It can take a few months to start to see impact of supplements. Have you spoken with the embryologist about the specific issue with your eggs? For me, this was really insightful to understand what exactly was going wrong & at what stages. itstartswiththeegg.com/faq/...

Hello, it may be worth talking to your consultant about adding Melatonin and human growth hormone to your stimulation cycle. These may not be indicated in your personal case but worth bringing up the conversation. Having followed a similar supplements regime to you, I had a good response in terms of follicle growth and egg quality. The actual stimulation protocol can also make a huge difference if you're unlikely to produce a large number of follicles to start with. My protocol and workup details are in my bio in case you want to check if you fall into a similar category. Wishing you the best of luck for your next cycle! X

Hi dear, thank you for your response,Yes i used Human growth hormone on this circle but not melatonin, also as you said maybe the protocol was wrong, because i did the stim injection for more than 16 days,my follicles were growing very slowly.

Hi,

I have found that here in UK my doctor(s) in plural! Didn’t give me many supplements, but I was looking on a doctor that studied in Harvard and she recommends like a list of it. Have a look in YouTube “egg whisperer “ and still consult with your doctor
