Egg quality improvements with supplements- feeling low

Been taking pregncare for months just bought royal jelly 1000mg gel caps and CoQ10 100mg. Will start tomorrow. I have added these two in due to what this forum and others threads say about them potentially improving egg quality. Any experiences? How long? I am starting Clomid the end of next month.

I feel really aggrieved that my egg quality was low for my age. I wasn’t expecting it. Found out Thursday. I feel like I am short changing my potential baby of the best start in life. I am a 9 and they said for my age it should be 12-15 .

Do you mean low amh? If you have low amh your still ok to go because as many ladies on here have said before me, it only takes one egg. Your doing the right thing with supplements because your giving your body the best nutrients to have better quality eggs - even if you have less eggs than average for your age. Xx

Hi thank you for your reply. I have 5 follicles in each ovary and eg quality is 9 . Does that make sense?

To be honest I don’t know. Have I got the wrong idea? If it’s not egg quality what should be 12-15 as that is what the dr said ?

I think they are referring to Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH). Just as a guide as I’ve been reading up, for those between 20 and 29 years of age the median is 13.1-53.8. 30-34 years of age its 6.8-47.8.

Anything above 15 is considered normal, 8-15 is low and 0-7 is very low or undetectable.

Keep going with your supplements, I’ve just started Proceive (there’s also Proceive max for ladies over 35 - I’m guessing lower AMH). It’s pricey though Xx

Yea, Pregnacare is a different brand and isn’t specifically aimed at ladies who struggle to conceive xx
