Just had my call to say my covid test was negative and my progesterone was low so we can continue to transfer.
More interestingly they advised that embryo glue isn't recommended with FET transfers yet 2 transfers ago they added on embryo glue and I paid for it only in September 🙄🙄
Has anyone else heard that?

Hi Montgomery. I would point you to the comments made by the HFEA hfea.gov.uk/treatment add ons They do keep up-to-date with information about such treatments, so might be worth a look. Obviously I wish you well with whatever you do decide, and of course for success. Diane
Thanks Diane. Literally so confused this cycke they've changed so much to waht they've been routinely doing for my last 4 FETs. I don't know what's right and wrong this time. They've just changed my transfer day to day 26 so now I've got. To isolate for 14 days. I'm obviously going to do it but I had only pre warned work about 6 days which is usually the difference between lining scan and transfer.
Good luck, can I ask how long you waited between lining scan and transfer? They are asking me to isolate for 14 days will be cycle day 26 for transfer I've usually had transfers day 21.
So I had my lining scan on the 4th but didn’t get the results until Monday so they said take progesterone from last night and transfer is next weds 17th! 👍 xx
Yep 😳 bored stiff now haha! What day are you in next week? Good luck! I keep going from positive thoughts to negative ones - such a rollercoaster ha. Xx
I'm in for transfer on the 25th 🙄 I'm just dreading the isolation. I asked if I can take another test next week and isolate from then on they've said no. Xx
Hi, I had my FET today, I asked at my scan last week about embryo glue, and my clinic said they don't normally recommend it, so I've not had it. Good luck with whatever you decide xx
My clinic (Chester) have used embryoglu on our 3 cycles (all failed). This time (were gearing up for Round 4) they said they no longer recommend embryoglu with FET as it has no effect. It does help with fresh though. At least we save £180! They’re also changing the amount of progesterone I’ll be given, they just said things change on an almost monthly basis in fertility, it’s always learning. I take this a good thing. Good luck xxx
That's the exact same thing they said to me - glad I'm not the only one. So I used to be on 2 x lubion daily, and I have that medication they said they were lowering that to 1 x lubion 1 x pessery. Also have they stopped your buserelin? X
Yes I think now I just start taking prognova three times a day on day 1, then will do progesterone, same as you, 1 lubion in AM, 1 pessary in PM. I’m going to push for progesterone blood testing this cycle, I’m convinced mine is low as I I have spotted on every cycle. I’m glad we don’t have to do the down regulation, that takes so long. The waiting game is ridiculous huh. I was meant to start meds for cycle 4 next week with day 1, but I’ve come on today 8 days early (I had a medicated cycle last month for ERA,EMMA & ALICE test & my withdrawal bleed was really light so I can only assume that’s why I’ve come on day 20 this month?) really upsetting as now have to wait another whole cycle to catch day 1. Meds don’t arrive until Wednesday. Good luck with your next cycle xx
I also had the ERA mine came back normal at 121hrs, I've never spotted on any progesterone or anything. Literally buserelin has halted my periods for up to 3 months after a failed FET cycle, when I didn't take it for ERA I had a period at the normal time. I have hope that the buserelin has been the thorn in my side 😊 I'm able to have a double embryo transfer this time. Good luck to you. X
