Hello everyone, I wanted to ask all 18 weeks preggies, anyone felt the kicking of baby yet? If yes when did u start feeling it?
I am not sure if the fluttering means anything .
Don’t mean to offend anyone.

Hi- if it’s your first pregnancy you won’t feel kicks until 20+ wks. Flutters or butterflies in your stomach do tend to be baby moving. I hardly noticed any movements in my first 2 pregnancies but more in my third one at around 16wks.
Don’t worry too much just now x
It’ll also depend where your placenta is - at my 20 week scan they said I have an anterior placenta (at the front) that cushions the babies movements so feeling “proper” kicks will be later. I still felt fluttering like butterflies in my tummy from 19 weeks. I’m 23 weeks now and that’s still really all I feel but she has a pattern which I’m getting used to. Try not to worry just yet xx
Hello! That’s totally normal. When I was expecting my first I was aware of flutterings or twinges but they always happened so quickly I never really knew if it was my boy or just a twinge. It wasn’t till I was speaking to a friend they said it was the baby moving.
I didn’t properly feel my boy move until around 23 weeks. My placenta was at the front as well so that normally means you will feel movement later on.
😁
I didn’t feel anything at all until 22/23 weeks. I was panicking too!
Hi SaxSin. Now your pregnancy is well established, perhaps you could move over to the NCT group? You will find lots of members you have known from Fertility Network UK. Just that it can be upsetting for those on this forum who are still struggling to conceive. Obviously, I wish you well with the second half of your pregnancy and birth. Diane
