Hi everyone, I have a baby bump now and I am only 7 weeks pregnant. People and friends see me and say congratulations: is it normal to have baby bump at 7 weeks? Maybe all the ivf hormones contributed to having an early baby bump due to the egg collection and bloating at egg collection.
Even anyone knows whether it is normal to have baby bump at 7 weeks please let me know as I am quite curious as to why I am showing so early. Does it mean I am having a big Baby? Does it mean anything?
Good luck ladies
xx

Hi lovely I had a bump from the get go too just like you, I never asked about it but I attributed it to the combination of collection, transfer & meds we have to take. I have a big bump now at just over 4 months but baby was only measuring a few days bigger than she should so all normal 😊 xx
Oh Laura thanks. I was wondering why I was showing so much already. I have no pregnancy sickness, nurses say the ivf hormones might have prepared my body for pregnancy so it could make some women have no morning sickness. Did you have morning sickness?
Nope not a bit of Morning sickness but around 8-12 weeks I had nausea badly but only on an evening it was so weird aside from that I've not really had many symptoms xx
Yeah totally normal, it's so hard not to panic and worry I still worry now even after all the checks and scans I think it will be like this until I give birth ha ha xx
Hey Laura, I'm a few weeks behind you (15w1d today) and mine also measured a little big for what I full we'll know is the conception (and thus due) date. They told me that usually happens with IVF babies. Head start after all we go through?! They even adjusted my due date - same for you?
Hiya, congratulations 😊 it must be an ivf thing! They said that if they were dating it it would be 31st december on nhs but ivf clinic say 4th jan so we have agreed to all stick with that date....for now ha ha xx
Oh thanks so much. I added so much weight already, it is scary but I am just happy for the baby and less worried about the weight. I will proudly carry my baby bump and not worry about how quickly it is growing lol xxxxx
Have you been scanned yet? Could it be twins? I felt like that and said to quite a few people I can feel something and bloated already. Scan at 7 weeks revealed twins xx
Hi Daxi, I have another scan scheduled for 8 weeks. I had two embryos implantated. At my 8 weeks scan I will know for certain if the second twins stayed or not (as it was too early to say conclusively at 6 weeks). Did you have two embryos implanted? xxxx
The weird thing is for me is that I am now the same weight as I was before I started IVF but I look huge. I honestly don't mind too much but none of my jeans fit which is weird for no weight gain. Its all round my tummy and it is so swollen and has never gone down. Not sure if its just because I am a lot more inactive and resting so maybe loss of muscle tone?? Any ideas?xx
I added more weight than I did before my Ivf. I think mostly on my stomach and all my jeans don't fit around my stomach. In fact I have bump like over 4 months pregnant lol xx
Me too! I am massive and have always had a wash board stomach, it was my best part of me hehe. I guess I just thought it would go down before it started to grow. have been living in leggings since stimms xx
I'm so jealous. I'm nearly 19 weeks and no sign of a bump at all. Just proves everyone is different and there is no right or wrong. Enjoy your pregnancy xx
I agree with the link somewhat but it doesn't explain why we find it hard to lose thw weight after treatment...I wish it did "fall off" after stims! I went back to my old diet and exercise routine after my 1st treatment and nothing came off grr! xxx
