Preggie test

Hello everyone. I had my transfer this morning and don’t think I will be able to wait until beta test next Monday. Anyone else doing a home pregnancy test before? My clinic says I don’t have to do the beta test if I don’t want to but I will have to wait until the Thursday after to do a home pregnancy test. Has anyone been told this? What is the earliest anyone has had a positive pregnancy test? I hate needles... even after 7 ivf cycles... hate blood even more so considering not going for the beta

Hi hun this is my 1st round and only round of ivf i started testing at 2dp5dt because i had spotting

Day 2 bfp

Day 3 bfn

Day 4 and so bfp

My otd was friday and ive tested everyday as i still cant believe it xx

Did you have an FET? I wonder why Day3 was a BFN... strange isn’t it? Do you count transfer day as day 0?

It was fresh hun i tested my trigger out it was out by day 3 that why i hot a neg.. day 4 positive its my 1st ever round of ivf and my last round as im private and we couldnt find the money to do it again so i am so very blessed it worked 1st time thank you hun xxx

Hi, I did a home test 9dp5dt. It was negative. I had my blood beta test programmed for two days later, they told that It would probably just confirmed the negative. It was positive.

Lots of friends and my sister told me that home pregnancy tests give false negatives even after your period being late or even during IVF that we know exactly the dates... So I agree you might hace to wait longer.

Angnome thank you for this information. Yes I know it could be devastating to get that false negative but I’m really glad you got that BFP in the end😅😅😁😁😁

I should try to hold out as long as I can but those cheapie tests in my suitcase are already calling out to me🙉🙉🙉

I had my transfer on the same day as you but my OTD is the Tue!

I usually love a good early HPT but unfortunately I get an Ovidrel shot at transfer for FETs so I cant test until 9dp5dt as I know from previous cycles the ''trigger'' stays in my system for 8 days. When I did get my BFP years ago i was testing out the trigger so its hard to know when I actually got a BFP as the line never went away, but it got darker on day 9.

This month I will wait until the day before OTD, I just cant look at another positive test knowing its probably just the trigger shot, but getting my hopes up anyway.

Pretty well actually, but im starting to think its the steroids im on giving me an energy and mood boost but im riding on that as long as i can! Still hoping to hold out until Monday.

Not feeling anything, but im a bit of a symptom vacuum. I dont get any side effects from 2ww (this is my 6th transfer in total), stimming, or early pregnancy for that matter so im clueless until OTD. How are you feeling?

Glad you’re enjoying the ride 😁 I think it’s the only way to remain sane really. I broke this morning and tested but as I really didn’t want to know 🙈 I tested with the second morning urine🤣-sure way to get an unreliable outcome... silly I know but it’s out of my system and I feel secure that the test told me nothing😂

I don’t feel anything’s my either... weird! Unlike you I really suffer the side effects of the progesterone. Nausea, cramps, tiredness, tears.. you name it.. I had it... until 2 days ago... and now... I have so much energy I could go clubbing!! Odd.

Hi Bexta... day 3 then... one day down and 6 to go. It is nice that you have some sort of a guide about when the HPT will most likely show a true result rather than just twisting in the wind. I will try and wait with you until this weekend. No trigger to consider for me so in my mind I have a target of waiting until 7dp5dt... but let’s see if I can hold on.

Are you feeling anything yet? This was my first transfer... previous cycles never reached transfer stage so I am a newbie here.
