Hormone injections

Hi everyone, just looking for some advice, I am day 9 of my cycle of injections and today my stomach is so bloated, I have put in 4lbs, my boobs are really sore and I am having quite a lot of discomfort in my lower abdomen every time I move, I am on bemfola and fyremadol. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Cri. Oh dear! The medication you are on, are obviously having an effect on your ovaries - big time! Make sure you drink plenty of water, to ensure nice light cloured urine is passed, and have a rest when you can. All will eventually settle back down, but sounds like one of the more uncomfortable side effects to me. Good luck! Diane

Hi dearThese all are medication effects. It will settle after egg retreival. Medication is to stimulate ovaries to produce more eggs in comparison to natural cycle. Don't worry. It will pass through. Just stay positive and remember the outcome will be worth all these pains and discomforts.

Thank you for your reply, hopefully egg retrieval in the next couple of days. I am an egg donor so will hopefully help someone and it will all be worth it .

I’m on day 12 of stims and I feel your pain! My boobs are so sore it woke me up every time I turned in the night! I can’t keep off the toilet either - scan today and the nurse said it’s because there’s hardly any room left for my bladder as my ovaries are busy. Daren’t weight myself 😂😂 EC Friday so hopefully feel better then - it will be worth it ❤️
