When to start taking progesterone on a natural FET

When do I start taking progesterone on a natural FET pls? I had my trigger on Friday night and my transfer is Friday with a blastocyst. The clinic told me to start progesterone today but I can’t remember if they said morning or evening. The progesterone is 3 x daily uterogesten. Can anyone help pls?

Hi Tulips, I had a very long conversation with my Dr about this as I posted something similar a couple of days ago. He told me.. that in a natural cycle, if you have your trigger on a Friday, you will ovulate Sunday morning and your body will start producing its own progesterone. The extra progesterone that you take is only supplementary, so timing of when you start is not crucial. It is only crucial on a medicated cycle. From my personal experience, when I had a successful natural cycle, I triggered on Friday and I was told to take progesterone from Monday. So even if you start in this evening i assume it should be fine. X

Hey, I had a natural FET and didn’t start my progesterone until after transfer. I took my pessaries with me and literally did it straight after the transfer. I really don’t think it’ll be a problem if you start this evening. Wishing you lots of luck xx

Hi thank you so much for replying. I have heard this from others before. My progesterone has never been tested so I have no idea but I have asked for it to be tested on transfer day. All the best to you on your journey xx
