I made a mistake on progesterone taking

Hello girls, I swear this transfert process will drive me crazy.I had my 5th transfer, first time on modified natural cycle, I took the first trigger on November the 7th, than I did a progesterone test that came back low on 12 (26 nmol/l), so the doctor asked to take two pessaries and the second trigger shot

I thought he said two twice a day but I was wrong it was just two : one on the morning and one on the evening, I just realized my mistake today (I'm d2pd5t), I did another test and my progesterone came back at 91 nmol/l, I'm freaking and I don't know what to do 🥺🥺🥺, do you think that will affect negatively this transfert? Or it's OK if progesterone is high?

Hey, try not to panic, you can't have 'too high' progesterone (or certainly circa 90 is definitely not too high') mine was around 151 4dp5dt and the clinic were happy with that. You will be fine! Good luck xx

Thank you, I was worried because sometimes doctors here don't process with transfert of the progesterone level is above 60 nmol/l the day of the transfert, that's why i thought maybe it's a problem, thank you for your reply I feel more comfortable with the situation now

With our successful FET my progesterone was at 124 nmol/L on the day of transfer! I think your number is good and wishing you lots of luck xx

I posted at the weekend because I had done the exact same thing! I’d been taking 2 pessaries twice a day for the first 3 doses 🙈 I contacted my clinic who said not to worry and it shouldn’t have any impact on the outcome of my cycle. It’s so easy to get muddled up with all the timings and dosages! X

Omg I just saw your post 😅, I've always been on medicated cycle so I didn't pay attention that this time my body is actually producing progesterone and I don't need the same dose as a medicated one 😅, but now I'm OK as girls here confirmed that there is no such thing as too high progesterone, finger crossed for both of us 🤞

You'll be fine Lovely. Most doctors feel your progesterone can't be too high, and your level definitely wouldnt be classed as extreme even by the minority who might think there IS an upper ceiling. Relax and good luck! X

I think you'll be fine. I did the opposite. The clinic said 2 x day. They meant 2 pessaries twice a day, but I only took 1 twice a day and ended up with really low progesterone at transfer. I had to take injections to get it higher plus the pessaries. Good luck with this round. I hope this is your time. 😊

Try not to panic. When my progesterone was uped the doctor told me that your will only absorbe what your body needs so it won't matter if you take too much you can't overdose on it he said it was better to have extra than not enough. Good luck 👍
