FET scan and possible endometriosis

Hi all, not sure the purpose of this post but just wanted to share what’s going on.

I’m in the middle of my first FET cycle and have been taking estrogen for the last week. Went for my first scan today so they could check the lining and tell me if I should start the progesterone.

However they found some ‘ghost’ lump pressing into my lining and they couldn’t tell what it was. The lining is supposed to be a C shape but this lump pressure is making mine an S shape.

The doctor said it could possibly be endometriosis and is sending me off for an MRI scan.

He said that if it is endometriosis we’d have to cancel this FET cycle and do a different protocol that takes 3 months of preparation

The thing is I’ve never had any symptoms of endometriosis. If it isn’t endometriosis then what is this ‘ghost’ lump pressing on my lining?

I had an ovarian cyst about 4 years ago that was removed. Perhaps it’s another cyst? If it’s a cyst then will that delay my FET?

So much whirling through my head. As things stand we’ve only got 1 good quality 5 day blastocyst and I just turned 43 last week.
