Is pregabalin safe during pregnancy?

We just had our first IVF CYCLE and I’m pregnant I can’t believe it as the week of testing I was spotting and cramps similar to my monthly bleed, also the same week!

I’m on pregabalin and I was told it wasn’t ideal to take but ok, I have cerebral palsy so it helps manage my nerve pain. I don’t want to hinder the pregnancy and although I’ve had specialist advice the fact he said it’s ok but not ideal makes me anxious. I double checked with my GP he also said I’m ok to continue.

Has anyone else used this medication in pregnancy and had a normal healthy pregnancy?
