Must be mad! Just about to start my 11th cycle

Happy new year to all. Hope 2021 brings lots 🙏 of positives

My story short and simple.

Had two ectopic pregnancies which resulted in me having my tubes taken away.

Started IVF when I was 21 years old

It worked on my 7th go unfortunately miscarriage at 7 weeks

Had my baby girl in 2017 aged 41 On my 10th round of IVF

I'm now 44 and feel I need to try to give my daughter a brother or sister.

I'm ready to start this month its been 4 years since my last cycle.

I'm feeling very scared nervous and very emotional 😢 I struggled for 20 years before had my baby girl.

Have hope

Have faith

Never give up

Wow what a journey you have had! Started at 21 too! I was too busy trying not to get pregnant at that age even though I met my partner at that age. If only I'd known it would take 5 years and multiple rounds of ivf to conceive we would have cracked on a lot sooner. That takes serious perseverance and strength. Well done u! Your proof that it can work and no reason why it can't work again! Wishing u all the luck. Xxx

Thank you. I've been with my hubby from the age off 16 we had our first pregnancy at 19 unfortunately was an ectopic. 6 months later suffered another ectopic. Thats why we had to start so young. I just assumed it would work first time with me been so young. How wrong I was even tho I was producing 37 eggs a time good grades ect. As the years went on my eggs was getting less grades I was producing less eggs it was an emotional rollercoster. Im so glad I stuck with it as plenty of times I wanted to throw the towel in.

Wow that's such a long journey and of course makes sense to start young but like you say it's a complete roulette and none of us know when we are going to strike gold. Your journey is an inspiration and wish you masses of luck for this next chapter! Xxx
