Six follicles, three eggs retrieved

Today, I’ve had an egg retrieval and out of six follicles only three eggs were retrieved. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Everything crossed the three I have are great quality. I’m feeling disappointed and worried.

Don’t need to worry this is completely normal. From 6 follicles 3 eggs is not bad at all, I had 18 follicles and only 6 eggs and 3 mature. I hope your ones will be all mature 🤞 you will not get from all follicles an egg unfortunately. Good luck and I hope you will get a good fertilisation report ❤️🤗💪🤞

One egg survived the ICSI process. Now to see if it fertilises over night.

I was in the exact same situation as you almost 2 weeks ago... from 6 follicles they retrieved 3 eggs, of which 2 fertilised and have been transferred at day 3. Now in the TWW!

Try not to worry too much about numbers, it’s all about quality. Remember you just need one good one for it to work! Good luck 🤞💫
