Low follicle, egg retrieval , trigger tonight

Today was my last scan, I’ve not responded as well as we thought. It was looking like we were going to cancel the cycle again but today the consultant has decided we go ahead.

Left ovary :only one measuring 10 so will be too small.

Right ovary: 4 but one is looking a bit too big at 23 and the other 3 are measuring 17, 15, 14.

So they are hoping for 3 good follicles on the day .I was so annoyed and disappointed all week as I really was hoping for a better response but I’m going ahead cautiously positive! Maybe a miracle growth will happen in the next day, praying the 3 follicles I have are good quality . Or at least have one egg 🙈

Tonight I do my trigger injection,

“Day off” tomorrow and egg retrieval on Friday morning.

Hi there. I definitely noticed a difference from last scan, trigger and egg collection. You have done so well getting to this point and remember it’s now out of your hands. You worked so hard! Will be thinking of you Friday.. the 3 you do have a pretty good sizes and seem to have committed to growing .. and who knows maybe you will also get the bigger one too .. there's every chance these ones you get are excellent quality. From first ivf round we only had 3 follies but got 2 day 5 blasts .. will be keeping all crossed for you xx
