I can only put one photo on for some reason x
I can only see your photos day 1-9 but none of those are positive, its normally for the line darkness to fluctuate and it does depend a bit on strength of your wee too.
I was told that when you get close to ovulation you should test twice or three times a day as the peak can be a short time period - so it might be if you are getting dark but not darkest strips you might be just missing it x
Hi Carla- when i first started using ovulation sticks I never got any positive results. The sticks barely registered any LH level. I realised it was probably because I drink a lot of water so my urine was always too dilute. I started testing first thing in the morning (despite the tests telling you to test in the afternoon) and I finally started picking up on my rise in LH levels as my urine was concentrated enough. In the end it turned out i was ovulating around day 19/20 which is another reason I may have missed them as I was expecting them around day 14. Obviously I now know that it is normal to ovulate around this point for some people! I also found tracking BBT really useful to confirm when I ovulated. good luck xx
See i cant know for sure what cycle day im on as I don't get periods x
Ah of course, sorry. What time of the day are you testing and do you use concentrated urine?
Didn't think they had to be first thing morning wee x I will try that x
They say on the pack to test in the afternoon as LH levels can rise in the mid morning. I just found that by the afternoon I had drank far too much water that I couldn't get a concentrated enough urine sample. Testing in the morning picks up my LH rise but goes against what they say on the pack. Good luck xx
Hi! i used these at the start but found them quite hard to read so i switched to the clearblue digital ones, when i know i'm close to my predicted ovulation date i test 2-3 times a day and for some reason usually ovulate 3/4 days before i am due to. Hope this helps x
Just to echo what others have said, I've also found that if my urine is too diluted (from drinking a lot of water. tea etc.) it can get in the way of picking up the LH surge fully. Like others I also test 2-3 times a day around the time I'm expecting to ovulate, although I hear what you say that's not easily possible if you don't know which cycle day you are.I found the whole process of looking for my LH surge quite stressful to be honest, and never get a second line which is quite as strong as the control (but I do get a noticeable increase in the darkness of the second line, followed by a drop off a day or so later, so have been told I can take that as ovulation). Good luck.
Thanks hun I will try that x
