3 Fertilsed Embies on track 🙌🏻♥️

So after the most anxious morning yday, we got the call to say that out of the 11 eggs collected, 6 matured and then 3 are left currently fertilised. I was/ am over the moon and celebrated all day as for those that didn’t know, this was a huge thing for me, as our last cycle in January, we didn’t get anything left and that call still haunts me, so I cried when the nurse told me we had 3 left 😆🙌🏻🤞🏻💑🎉. Currently booked in for day 3 transfer on Thursday 🙌🏻 One or two to put back and any tips for transfer and the next 2/3 days after that? I’ve been here so many times, but I love reading posts for advice and find it so helpful so many TIA 🤞🏻🤞🏻😘☺️🙌🏻Xxx

Aw that's brilliant news.. Im not long after my first transfer. I've carried on much as normal just being a little more cautious, clinic's all give different advice but what I've stuck to is:

Keeping as active as normal, I had one day off work

I ate pineapple including the core for the first 5 days

Balanced diet

No hot baths or anything that could raise your body temp

No swimming

I had acupuncture

Very best of luck to you xox

Ahh congrats for getting to the 2ww 🎉how are you feeling? So when you say had one day off work, was that the actual transfer day or did you take the next day off too? I’m trying to decide whether to go back on Friday at the moment 😬I have all tomorrow off for transfer day. I have the 🍍ready and plan to do the same ✔️No hot baths or swimming and yes Accupunture in place before and after ET tomorrow and will book in for another one prob for Monday ✔️

Thank you! Xxx

Hiya.. Its a long wait I'll not lie, the days have been dragging in for me 🙈

I just had the day of transfer off but its whatever you feel most comfortable with, some people take one day some people take the whole 2 weeks xox

Yeah I know what you mean.. it feels like forever the 2ww doesn’t it?! I am doing the same as my work isn’t stressful and I have a 3 year old at home, that I think will actually be more strenuous than being at work behind a desk 😝back to work for me tomorrow. Hope you are doing ok and wishing loads of luck and sending lots of baby dust xxx

Amazing news, you must be so relieved and wishing you so much luck for your transfer tomorrow!! Just take it easy for a couple of days after the transfer, plan to do something nice with your family over the weekend and no swimming/hot baths for a while. I’ve never had the day off around transfer but usually tried to at least work from home, rest and plan not overly strenuous day to keep myself feeling in a positive headspace. Keeping everything crossed that your little embies are developing well and ready to get snuggled in x

Thank you so much for your kind words and advice. I am not in work tomorrow (they don’t know what I’m doing) for the actual transfer day, but I can’t decide whether to take the Friday off too. I was always planning to, but my job is pretty chilled and I do have a 3 year old at home, so thinking may be best to just go back in on the Friday and lay low.. do you usually go back the day after or work from home for a couple of days? I can see the pro’s and con’s to both, so thought I would see how I felt tomorrow afternoon. Thank you so much 😘xx

Hey honey. Transfer day I just snoozed and ate. Day after I wanted to keep busy but had a nap when I got in. I heard so long as you’re not sweating from exertion. You’re good. Best of luck! Xox

Congratulations that’s brilliant news!

For my next cycle I told my clinic I would prefer 2 embies put back in if at all possible. I’ve had a myomectomy last year and they were quite reluctant to even open that discussion on our first cycle. For our next session they are happy to try 2 and see how things go.

It’s your preference and the clinics willingness to provide that option. Whatever you decide I’m praying and rooting for you guys ❤️❤️

Thank you!

Oh I’m sorry to hear you had to go through that. Yeah we have always pretty much had 2 put back, so thought why not now?! Thank you so much and sending you guys all the best of luck too xxx
