I had a negative result last week after a 2 embryo transfer, 1st attempt. We have 1 embryo frozen and have an appointment with embryologist next week to discuss moving forward. I’m quite nervous about this with the thoughts of the risk of the defrosting process failing and if that goes ok is there anything I can do to improve my chances. It’s my last chance due to age and funding.

Hi, sorry to hear first round didn’t work. As for your frozen round the % success of thawing is really quite high (we have had 3 embryos thawed all successfully). I’ve also read FETs can have a slightly higher success rates in some clinics too. What I would say is your embryo is now made and will be so you dont need to focus on things that improve your eggs now. There are a few things you can do to make your body most ready to accept but the main thing is taking your meds religiously and for me it was also getting in a relaxed place mentally that finally worked for me 🤗 wishing you all the luck in the world 💗 xx

Thanks. I’m looking at different things to help. I tried meditation last time and will continue with that. I’m looking in to acupuncture as I read some research that can be beneficial. Trying to remain positive but it can be hard at times.
