Me again, I seem to ask a lot of questions so I’m sorry.
So I started having a bit of red spotting on Monday (just when I wiped) I phoned clinic and nurses asked me to come up on Tuesday and I had bloods taken to check hcg.
My levels were pretty high - 75,312
So I’ve to go for a scan on from day (I’ll be 6weeks 6 days)
I’m still spotting and I feel horrible. Really queasy and just yucky.
I know there’s nothing I can do until Friday - the nurses said to go to a+e if I got any sharp pains and I’ve not had anything like that but the blood when I wipe is stressing me out so much.
Can anyone give me any advice? Xx

I had this around this time. Have they tested your progesterone levels?
Mine ended up being due to me being on blood thinner and aspirin and a small hematoma and everything ended up being ok. Once I stopped the blood thinner, it started again once I was told to go back on it. I’m off them now again for now. It’s happened a number of times for me from week 5-9. So I totally understand your worry. Just like you I did have more scans during this time for reassurance. So founds like you are doing all the right things. Good luck x
Thank you for your response and I’m sorry you went through that. I am on cyclogest pessaries (twice a day) and progynova (oestrogen) 3 tablets at night. My scan is on Friday so I’m guessing there’s nothing I can do before then. I’ll try to ring and leave a message with nurses.
Ya, just ask if it could be your progesterone being to low. It might not be, but worth getting your levels checked. Especially as you are going in on Friday anyway.
Hello I know it’s so stressful you poor thing. I’ve just had a big bleed at 12 weeks and it turned out that I have a hematoma. Apparently they’re very common in ivf pregnancies especially early in the first trimester. Wait for your scan and keep taking progesterone and also stay off your feet, you need to be lying down as much as possible. Don’t lift anything too heavy, look after yourself. It’s distressing seeing blood all the time, but remember, the baby is ok. Keep us posted with how you get on. Rest up xxx
Thank you for your reply! Oh no, that is so stressful for you ... I hope you’re ok now? I’m sorry I never replied before now - my partner made me step away from google as I was driving myself crazy!
Scan was good today. Just one wee baby - in the right place, good heartbeat, measuring 6weeks, 6 days (which is exactly what we thought)
Feeling much better now so thanks again for your replies and please keep me updated on how you’re all doing xxx
