Spotting for the last 4 days with no proper period

Hi All! I haven’t posted in here for a long time but I keep track with all the stories. I sometimes feel I’m drowning in my loneliness but posts in here cheer me up somehow. I’m in my late 40s and after 2 failed cycles, my husband and I decided on DE for the first (and last) time. We had our transfer on 25/4 which was our wedding anniversary. On 1/05 I started having brown spotting and had cramps as if AF is coming. We both know this is our last go on IVF and when I told my husband I seemed to have started my period he cried. We both agreed that whatever is the result of this we will move on with life and find other things to be happy about. We have each other, family and friends around us and a beautiful dog. My otd is the 8/5 and I’m 4 days light spotting now with brown discharges. I keep taking my Progesterone and Estrogen until the proper period shows up. Anyone has this experience? Sorry for the long post. Best of luck to everyone in this type of journey. Xxx

As I've seen and experienced myself, brown spotting is very common. You are not out yet, there is still hope! Don't lose hope and I've got all my fingers crossed for you to get your positive on the 8th 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🍀🍀🍀🌻🌻🌻🌻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for that, Klndmr. X

Could it be implantation bleeding or bleeding caused by the progesterone. If it’s brown coloured I’ve been reading all the time that it’s quite common and as long as it’s brown nothing to worry about. But definitely call your clinic if you’re concerned

Hi hun. Over the years I had hoped that the brown discharges could be implantation but then it progressed to red eventually then I was heartbroken. This time it’s brown all along but the cramps are like period coming. This is my 5th day light spotting and I thought implantation bleeding could only last several hours to about 2 days. Test day is in 2 days time. I’ll ring the clinic then for whatever result. Thanks hun. 🙂

😢 I know I have suffered a MC myself and I had exactly the same thing. Brown pink then red. However I’ve seen so many others on this forum that have have had even red bleeding that hasn’t meant there’s an actual issue I don’t want you to count yourself out yet. It is scary for what the disappointment could be but I really hope it’s nothing xx

I know. This 2ww is hard even my husband said it’s almost like a torture. But I said to him I think I will be more accepting this time than last time. I’m not sure though. 😬

In my experience it defo doesn’t always mean the worst lovely 🤗 at 11dpt you should get aaccurate test result by now if the unknown is causing you stress, equally I know some people like to wait until the date the clinic give you, either way wishing you luck for when you test 🤞🏽 Xx

Thanks, Twiglet2! I was so tempted to test early but I am keeping myself.😝 I do my best to distract myself from thinking too much. Then counting the days like yesterday I was thinking that by tomorrow at least test day is the day after tomorrow. I’ll hold off and prepare myself on Sunday morning. But I said to my husband, “Que Sera Sera”. 😬☺️

I don’t have any answers for you, I‘ve never experienced any spotting on any transfer but like so many I‘ve read as long as it’s not red it still could be fine. I just want to wish you all the luck and baby dust in the world for your test day. Praying this is your sticky bean nuzzling in💕💕💕💕💕

Hi, I had 3 rounds, all had dark and light red spotting. 2 resulted in very early miscarriage, and the final round is currently 10 months old asleep on my lap as I type. In my final round I was convinved the cramps were AF and were stronger than previous 2 rounds. Turned out that the progesterone was causing the spotting , and the cramping was my uterus getting ready to expand. So I guess there is no way to know for sure but don't loose hope as it can still happen.

I have my fingers and toes crossed for you 😊
