Prior to retrieval or a transfer? I had that before retrieval and the cycle went ahead x
Hi I had fluid in my uterus after egg collection and had to have a FET transfer a few months after x
Hi! I’ve had 4 egg collections, then a miscarriage, then a failed transfer and now keep having canceled cycles due to fluid. Did you fluid clear up?
And sorry you’ve had 3 cancelled cycles due to this fluid build up in uterus :/
I’ve had this both in uterus and within the lining (different cycles). This is only my thoughts, but it seemed to happen when I was started out on a high progynova dose in my medicated FETs. The times when it was lower and then increased at the scan date it didn’t happen. It did mean I needed longer after scan before I could start on progesterone, so it was longer than the traditional 21days.
I have just had a failed IVF cycle, and my doctor wants to do a HyCoSy next week to check for fluid in my tubes. I’ve had lots of uterine scans before, but yesterday she mentioned that she’d previously seen fluid during one of my scans but because she hadn’t the other times, she’s not thought much of it until I had a failed cycle.
I don’t know if it’s the same thing as what you’ve experienced or not, but just wanted to let you know incase it’s a test that can be done for you to check your tubes to make sure there’s not blockages that can cause the fluid to leak into your uterus.
Best of luck xx
I was told after the my egg collection last week that fluid was present, but transfer is set for Tuesday. My doctor advised eatint lots of protein and drinking lots of water, but I'm not sure if this helps or is just general advice? I read a study by Cardiff University that said the more uterine fluid, the less chance of success m, but the fluid can be aspirated just before transfer and this helps. Has anyone had this done/discussed this with their doctor?
This is my second month of free fluid in my uterus. I’m at my wits end as I’ve never had this before. However as someone above has mentioned I’ve been put on 16mg of progynova a day and that could be the reason as I’ve never taken that much before. I have another scan on Friday so I may drop the dose down and see if it helps as my lining is good already and it’s only day 9.
Any help will be great xx
I am with you. I can't take it anymore, but like my husband said just treat it as a job till the time comes. Diligently working hard for results.
WISHING YOU THE BEST!!!
And you! It’s so upsetting every month there’s something else wrong! X
