Gonasi error

Hi, i just took my Trigger injection Gonasi and the nurse showed me how to take it and said to take both. I took 2 injections of 5000 but now I have read i was meant to mix one solution to two bottles of the powder.

Have i messed up my cycle by mixing both with solution. The clinic is closed right now as well and i'm feeling quite worried.

It really doesn't matter. You have given yourself all the medication but just with more water. No problem at all. My clinic actually only gives you one shot of 5000 gonasi and they argue that for most women this is more than enough. I think more is better (I convinced them to give me two) but it did give me peace of mind knowing with two doses allows for some spillage and other mistakes. As long as it's done at the right time. Good luck xxx

I have done a mistake too. Instead of taking 2 of those white tablets and putting one water into it. I’ve done 1tablet with 2 does of the water. Help pls. Will this work for me still? Really worried

When did you do this? Can you contact your clinic? The amount of water doesn't really matter (if you do one or two vials is not such a big deal). Although 1 tablet is for most women more than enough your clinic may give you some extra advice on how to proceed. Good luck!

Unfortunately they are closed this is why I’m looking for some help here. Yes, all I did was added more water into one tablet, instead of taking two tablets with one syringe of waters. Thank you 😊

I really don't want to replace medical advice because I'm not a doctor: If you have some water left from your other meds would you be able to mix this with the other tablet and administer it? Your clinic should really have an emergency number. Is there a pharmacy you can ask for advice?

I got no water left. I used both for one tablet already. I have contacted the pharmacy they are unable to provide advice

As I said for most women 5000 is absolutely fine. My clinic is confident that there is no reason to double the dose. I'm sure you'll be fine. I hope you can relax a bit. Good luck! Xx

Hey you should be fine total dose is still 10,000 units all it is that it’s more diluted and you had two injections instead of one! Don’t worry! x

I think it’s fine, you’ve still had the right dose but you’ve done it in 2jabs rather than 1 🤦🏼‍♀️. Good luck 😊xx

I had two doses of gonasi for my trigger too and nurse just told me to take two injections separately rather than faff around trying to mix it into one...so I think you're fine! Xx

Thank you everyone, I feel very reassured now, your mind starts going into overdrive when you think you've done something wrong. 🙂

As long as you’ve used both the powders I don’t think it would matter if you only used one of the waters or both. The solution is probably just water for injections. All my stims were 2 vials and just used the water from one but it wouldn’t have mattered if I’d used them separately. The active drug is in the powder and the only reason for using less of the water for injections is so you’re injecting a more concentrated solution as bigger volumes can sometimes cause a bit of discomfort. From how I’ve interpreted the info you put I think you’ve still had the prescribed dose, you probably just administered it as a bigger volume, but I wouldn’t think that would impact on effectiveness at all
