Hi lovely ladies ! I am new to ivf journey and new in the sense that i don't have much knowledge about all the different kind of tests and procedures involved.I am 33 and i have been put on unexplained fertility.i have done two ICSI cycles(antagonist short protocol) with NHS .First in March 2020 got two embryos but they said my progestrone was high so they had to b freezed but they dint survive.2nd cycle in October I got 4 embryos one transferred and two frozen.and got BFN.i was absolutely devastated and its getting hard to cope with all the stress. So I have my follow up appointment tomorrow and I might b asked that I have to proceed to transfer the frozen ones.i don't know how much time they wil give me.i just wanted to know that if I get FET straight away after my fresh cycle failed end of October.what are the chances of its success straight after a failed attempt????i had two failed ones within 8 months periods so does it affect your body and your chances of a successful FET gets less???Should I wait a few months and then get a frozen transfer or should I do it straight away ??And wil this affect my success or failure in any way.any pros or cons ??? I am also scared that if I say to wait they might put be on a long waiting list again.and on appointment then really don't explain why they are doing a certain protocol or procedure.they just tell you and don't even ask about what you want to do.please if any of you have any knowledge or experience about that please share.i will b forever grateful and it wil help in deciding.thanks in advance.

NEED ADVICE !!!! How long should a person wait after failed fresh embryo transfer to get a frozen embryo transfer???Does wait affect or help
I didn't wait. Went for it after my next bleed x.
I didn’t wait either - I had a failed transfer in the March and then did an FET less than 6 weeks later as I did non medicated transfers so just had to wait to ovulate again and then did the transfer 5 days later x
I was told that it’s good to wait for 2 cycles before going in for frozen transfer after failed fresh cycle.
I also feel it depends on the clinic. My clinic didn’t encourage for frozen transfer sooner.
My NHS clinic asked me to wait 2 periods before trying an FET after a failed fresh transfer, even though I wanted to have it done sooner. They didn't explain their rationale but I guessed it was to help my body get back to normal after all the stim meds I took which was a very high dose compared to most women. See what your clinic says, as it's an NHS one I'd be surprised they would push you to have the FET in less than 2 cycles after your last attempt and if you feel like taking a longer break before your FET they should understand and accommodate this. Good luck x
I did four cycles back to back after the first one was a chemical. Every other one failed and I sort of believe it was the fact we did them one after the other without a break.
hey dear, as far as I know you can start right after your period. Good luck xx
