Evening fertility friends. Hope everyone is hanging in as we head into the weekend.
I found work a welcome distraction this week as we endure the dreaded 2WW. My OTD is on Monday at which stage I will be 11dp5dt. I have to go into the clinic for a blood test on Monday. This is my first ever round of IVF and first embryo transfer.
I am not sure I want to get the result from the clinic by telephone- I would rather know myself before the news is delivered. My question is what people’s experiences with taking a 10dp5dt home pregnancy test is? How reliable might it be? All thoughts, opinions and experiences welcome as we work out what to do. 😬😬😬

Hey, my clinic doesn’t offer blood tests and rely solely on home pregnancy test thus I believe it’s accurate. I was told that my OTD will be 12dp5dt but I tested early on 10dp5dt and had a BFN. I called the clinic and they told me that the chance of getting a BFP after a BFN at 10dp5dt is almost non-existent. I did do another test on 12dp5dt anyway to make sure and was told to discontinue all the medicines...
My clinic also ask for you to do a home pregnancy test on 10dpt. I'm pretty sure if you test on day 10 you'll get an accurate result. My has been accurate past 2 rounds. Today was test day and it's another BFN. Clinic have said to test again Mon but I know I'm out. Going to have a wine tonight I need it. Sending you lots of luck x
I am surprised to see that your clinic wants you to test on day 14 for a 5 day transfer. I tested on day 14 for day 2 transfer. If you will test now more likely you will get an accurate result. I tested positive from day 5 (a faint line though) but unfortunately it was not meant to be. Fingers crossed for you, praying for a positive outcome 🤞❤️
Congratulations!!! That is fantastic news. To be fair it is 11 days when they are having me for a blood test but based on these replies I am def gonna test at 10 days on Sunday. Xx
Our clinic told us to do a test at home on day 9 after a 5dt and we got our positive yesterday. It was very faint on a standard test but got a ‘pregnant’ on a digital test. Good luck xx
