Pink blood at 9 + 5

I am really panicking. Just been to the toilet and wiped and there was pink and got a bit of cramping. Can anyone advise if this is normal? Xx

This can be perfectly normal. I had pink spotting around the 8 week mark. It was pink spotting that was like a small flow of a period. I got checked at the EPU. My little baby was fine 😃 he’s now kicking away at 23 weeks. Go and get checked out for reassurance. 😃 we have put our bodies through a lot plus the medication this can cause us to have the odd breakthrough bleed or spotting.xxxx

It lasted about 4/5 days xxx it never turned red always stayed pink

I had spotting exactly at the same stage, I was scared like hell and went to A&E. Then I was diagnosed with a cervical ectropion: in simple words, some of my tissue inside the cervix was sensitive to the pregnancy hormones so that it would easily bleed. It happened a few times over the pregnancy (once because I went to the toilet and, ahem, pushed a bit too hard, the other times it was after having sex), but everything was fine. My daughter is now a healthy 15mo toddler.

Thank you. All of this really helps. I had more spotting in the night but it has stopped this morning. I am going to try and get a private scan although the idea of that terrifies me too! I am so happy it all turned out well for you and you got your daughter xxxxx

Iv just had the same last week 10 weeks it happened on and off over a few days I've put it down to. Coughing loads and a hard bowl movement sorry for tmi. i did have a scan to check all was OK coz i had pain too. They couldn't find a reason for the bleed and bubu was ok. Now my 12week scan on Tuesday. Good luck hun im sure all is fine 😘💗

I just wanted to thank everyone. I managed to get a scan today and everything was perfect, heart beating and measuring 9 + 1. I admit I cried with relief xxx
