Ovulated through Cetrotide.. another cancelled FET

Title says it all really. So gutted. I have had 8 cancelled FET cycles as I have thin lining issues.. past 3 attempts have been natural FET as I don’t respond to artificial Estrogen. However I ovulate early and all medications including Frymadell and Cetrotide can’t stop me ovulating!! I finally got over 6mm yesterday.. consultant called and said we need to buy a few days..but if you ovulate tomorrow (Sunday) I’m afraid we can’t scan you and so will miss the window and that’s that.. last night had quite a bit of EWCM so did an ovulation test and there you go... positive!!! I can’t believe my bad luck! Feeling so deflated today!

So sorry to hear this hang in there my friend kept having lining issues and eventually the clinic (we used them to) decided to go ahead as it was she got pregnant first go with twins sadly lost one but she now has a nearly 2 year old boy so hang in there.

Awww Tia, what a flipping nightmare for you! You just cant seem to catch a break!! I'm not an expert on the natural FETs but if you get a positive ovulation test does that not mean that its imminent and not happened yet but will do in the next 24 to 48 hrs?xx

Hi lovely. Thanks for replying. Yeah it’s 24-36 hours.. and the test was yesterday afternoon.. So probley today ... which fits in with my symptoms. The clinic don’t open Sunday so can’t check. I’m in tomorrow at 8 .30 and praying it’s a long ovulation but it’s a long shot and my usual ovulation symptoms are fading. X

Hi, went for scan this morning and I have ovulated. My lining was 6.1 ( I rarely get over 6) so they have offered to transfer.. its took 18 months to get over 6 so I think I may have to go for it x

Would you? Still nervous about it... but I think I have to accept I’m just naturally thin in the lining department. I have Estrogen and more progesterone to take to increase it even more before transfer x

Nervous about transferring correct time also... I had a positive test Saturday night and today my follicle wasn’t there so I’m pretty sure it was yesterday... I couldn’t have surged and ovulated all in same night surely?

Yes, I really think I would! I know its a tough decision knowing what the right thing to do is but you've had a such a hard time trying to even get over the 6mm!! Its always nerve racking going into a transfer, doesn't get any easier unfortunately.xx
