FET cancelled due to Covid

There’s not much point to this post but just need a rant to people that understand. I had my egg collection last month but had to freeze all due to risk of OHSS. It’s day 1 of my period so I’ve rang the hospital to start FET this month but have been told they are fully booked as they can’t see as many patients due to Covid. I know I should be grateful to have an egg in the freezer but it’s been 4 years and I’m just devastated to be so close then have another delay. I can’t stop crying but need to pull my together x

Aww lovely. So sorry abt that. I feel you. Am waiting for a call to try again after the fail and they seem to not know if i can untill my period arrives. If you are regular please ring two weeks in advanced to have your appointments etc booked. Hope you have your embrie back with you soon x

Thats a shame I feel your pain they didn’t fit me in till my 3rd period I wasn’t happy at all I found keeping my self fit and going hill walks etc helped me to take my mind off it it’s the worst feeling ever and hope you are ok mine was cancelled too and kept getting told I was priority but they wouldn’t fit me in it’s not fair x

I have my transfer on weds but constantly kept saying there was no space you will get there eventually it feels like she’s but yeah just try keep your self busy it helps xxx

I’m so sorry to hear this as every stage in ivf appears to last a lifetime but like someone else said phone up 2 weeks before hand and hopefully they’ll have room ready for next month for you Xx
