Guys, I'm all about celebrating the little wins.... For as long as I've been TTC, I seem to ovulate between day 19 - 22, then start spotting day 25 and full bleed on day 29. This means that I have a ludicrously short luteal phase and pretty much zero progesterone. Neither of the clinics that I've been to seem to think this is a problem and have just been pumping me full of extra drugs each cycle - to no avail. Anyway I decided to take matters in to my own hands and sought outside help - and this month for the first time in years, I ovulated on day 14 and had zero spotting before my period on day 29!!! I know I'll still never be able to get pregnant naturally (as my tubes are clipped) but at least my body is finally playing ball! Feeling super positive about my next stim cycle now. Sending lots of positive vibes to you all this Friday xxx

Go you! That's good to hear, did you end up taking your own progesterone if so which one as I defo have a progesterone issue too! I'm forever spotting before my period and starting bleeding very soon after my transfer ♥️
Actually I started on a whole new supplement regimen but the main thing that helped I think was vitamin B6 which helps your body to create it's own progesterone. I really think it's helped with the spotting. xx
Amazing thanks! Supplement or food? Xxx
What did you decide to do with your c/b? xx
We are not sure yet but are having a bit of a break as I've been under so much stress (work and another house move) I want to be in the right frame of mind so will go again in Jan/Feb next year ♥️ what about you hun xxx
Hi Millbanks. That's great news! Can I ask what you did differently this month. I have a similar history to you and the doctors don't seem to care about my short luteal phase.
Hi lovely, the main difference was the addition on vitamin B6 which helps your body make its own progesterone. I find it amazing that they don't look at your natural cycle when planning protocols. I've had so many consultations where I've mentioned it and they poo-poo any kind of natural support for the body. xx
Fantastic news! So much of this rotten journey is not being in control so it must feel fantastic to have positively influenced things! x
Honestly - it's such a small thing but it does feel like I've got a tiny bit of control back! And that is really important, being such a control freak. Have you made any decisions about your DE situation? xx
This is so encouraging news! Month after month many of us take supplements (i think i count 12+) and sometimes i do wonder if it helps. Well here is the living proof. *remindsherself tostartthevitinebcomplexupagain* xxxxx
I'm exactly the same - I dread to think how much I spend on supplements - but if it actually helps then it's worth every penny xx
Wow that’s such great news! Definitely celebrate the little wins in this journey xx
Thanks PenguinBlue! Have you started your new cycle yet? xx
Just started back on norethisterone yesterday and buserelin next week. Fingers crossed it means I can start stims in Nov! How about you? When is your ERA planned for? Xx
Great news, so pleased, this whole fertility journey takes us away from having much control over what goes on which in some ways is good but other times hard so it’s great you have taken control and done what u think is best as sometimes I feel we do need to take control when it comes to hospitals and cycles & what they think is best & what we think is best or required. Best of luck with ur Era test this is something I might look into so may check in with u and get some advice xx
Thanks Coral - you're right! Yes please do xx
Oh Millbanks, that’s great! It’s so nice when your body finally does what it’s supposed to do. I have pcos so terribly irregular drawn-out cycles, I feel so happy when I have the odd rare normal cycle! All the best for stims xxx ❤️
