Unfortunately our first IVF cycle failed. I started spotting 5 days post transfer and now on full AF day 8. Sad times but trying to stay positive for next cycle. Well done to all you successful people xxx

Hi Emily are you still taking the progesterone? Only asking as I bled a lot during our first cycle (day 5 & 6) but did get a BFP! We did go on to miscarry later but I've other problems going on which may have caused this xxx

Yes still on progesterone as couldn't get hold of my clinic today. That's good to hear but my GP said it's pretty unlikely I will be pregnant.xxx

Hi Emily7, so sorry to hear it was a bfn...they really suck. I got mine a week ago tomorrow but like you I've tried to see the positives...I'm raring to go for round 2 already. Bring it on! xx

Thanks Oakey. Best of luck for your round 2. That's great you can start round 2 in your next cycle. We are on the NHS and the waiting list for round 2 will be at least 6 months xx

Ah poop is that because it's a fresh cycle? We're on nhs but doing a frozen as we only get one fresh/one frozen in my postcode. If this don't work we'll be emptying the penny jar! xx

Sorry to hear this 😔 hopefully they will know how to tweak your plan next time to make it happen. What a rollercoaster.

It's so hard when the NHS dictate everything for you, you're out of control as it is with this journey, making you wait 6 months if you didn't want to wait that long for r2 is frustrating.
