7dp5dt *Sensitive*

Hi ladies I have been testing since 5dp5dt and my test date is tomorrow (8dp5dt). I have positives which is fantastic, although when I imagined this day I thought I would break down in floods of tears. Instead I feel a bit numb, shocked maybe, full of anxiety praying all continues as it should. Still shattered and getting no sleep at all 😴

My tests seem quite strong for being so early. This is the first positive ive ever had and it was a double transfer. I am just wondering if the line can indicate that it's likely both have taken?

My hunch would be twins Congratulations. Did you change your protocol at all this time? I saw you had two failed transfers where EC only produced 1 blast per round & I think I'm in the same situation.

Thank you. My first round was short protocol because I have some PCO similarities but the quality wasn't good and we ended up with 1 early blast.2nd round was long protocol and we ended up with a top quality blast, we had a couple more but not good enough to freeze. It failed but the consultant was baffled as to why.

This time same protocol, only changes were a progestrone tablet instead of the pill, ans then a lower dose of the same stims. This resulted in the lowest number of fertilised eggs (6, first 2 rounds was 8). But we had two top quality and one which was a C which they wont freeze. So in a moment of madness I asked for both 🙈 then got home and thought oh 😬. I would love 2 together but I'm a worrier so it's just the risks that concerns me.

So basically in my case it was all down to the protocol which affected the egg quality. Mine seem to work best woth slow and steady.

I had an early positive too and Im having twins but a girl that had her positive just a couple of weeks before me had a strong positive, maybe even darker than mine (and her hCG bloods were higher than mine too) and she had a singleton. There's no way of knowing until scan but congrats meantime.xx

It’s difficult to say without knowing your hcg level - I’m having twins and didn’t use first response past about 8dp5dt as swapped to clearblue digital with weeks. 8dp5dt I got clearblue 2-3 weeks

Thanks. I started testing at 5dp as I only had a 1ww this time. I'm going to try not to test after my bloods tomorrow. The 5am sprints on a morning to rip open tests is sending me barmy 🙈Congrats on your pregnancy xx
