Buying DHEA online

Is it safe to buy DHEA online as apposed to through your pharmacy? I have a private prescription but its much more expensive! How do you know if its safe and of same quality when buying online? Many thanks in advance

Ellie, 1005. Did you have your testosterone and DHEA levels tested? Ask the clinic to test before you start and it really is harmful unless you use the correct one and dosage. I get mine from NVS pharmacy in Baker Street. London. It’s the micronised one. So two tablets in the morning to dissolve in your mouth empty tummy and 1 in the afternoon. I think it’s a great product but if you take it without doctor monitoring you it could affect your body temp, hair (all mine started falling out) and my periods cycle got shorter affecting the outcome of my IVF cycle. At baseline follicles were like 7 or 8 mm in size whilst the rest was like 2.. and even after stims only those 2 grew and the others didn’t. Defo do the test first and then start on the micronised DHEA which you need a subscription for. 90 tablets from NVS is about £200. Your clinic can email

Him or post the prescription and you can collect or ask them to post it. They are really nice there. I am at a clinic around the corner from this pharmacy and on one occasion needed to trigger. Clinic sent them the prescription I arrived bought the trigger and they made a space in the pharmacy so I could take it! They left out sharpies bin, gloves anti sepetic wipe etc!
