We had our consultation today and the consultant suggested dhea 25mg x 3 daily and melatonin supplements may be helpful. I forgot to ask what dose of melatonin so wondered what other people were taking and also where you have bought both from? Googling now it looks like you can't usually buy them in the UK, I've found it on some websites but how do you know it's ok?
I've heard these supplements mentioned before but not sure what to do for the best now 🤔

I purchased my melatonin from biovea they are in the US so you pay a little more for delivery and tax but they are reputable.
I take 3mg a night at the moment.
I also used iherb for some supplements and found them excellent (you can buy melatonin and dhea with them).

You can get DHEA from NVS pharmacy is Baker Street. You need a prescription. Normal dose is 75mg. You need the micronised type. Check your levels before taking- DHEA and testosterone. Melatonin from the US.

Can I ask what clinic you are with? No nhs clinics seem to recommend. I got both from biovea x
I got both of them (and all of my other supps) from iHerb in the US. They really are a godsend for TTC supps as they are much cheaper than H&B and mostly than Amazon, and Hermes delivery is free over a certain amount (30 or 40 quid I think). They also do faster DHL delivery although thanks to Brexit it is not quite as quick as it once was (I think they ship to Europe from the Netherlands). xx
I agree iherb are great - so much better value that using a prescript here. They are my go-to supplier.
Brand I went for life extension for the melatonin, and always get MRM for the dhea
Thanks for this - I've just tried to order those but it says the melatonin is not available to be shipped when I put in UK shipping address - did you have this problem? Or are you not in the UK? X
Hmmm, strange. Yes I’m in the U.K. I’m pretty certain that’s where I will have ordered from. I used to order from Ipumpshop in the US so maybe it was there, but their website had issues and I switched to iherb. So I’m not 100% sure that it was definitely iherb for the melatonin then. Defo for the dhea. I always buy 3 bottles of the dhea at a time minimum x
I got mine from Biovia, and they defo help ( melatonin ) I take 3mg a night as it’s meant to help with egg quality too 😘 hope this helps x x x
