So, I decided to take it but finding a reputable supplier is proving difficult.
A friend recommended a shop in Kent; however, they no longer import it as the classification has changed.
Because they're hormones, they're banned from the UK? I'm not sure. Heard they're classified as a steroid and recall a lady in this forum recently had hers detained and destroyed by customs but in the US they're classified as a food supplement and available over the counter. Not sure if the labelling has anything to do with it.
Anyway, has anyone recently brought them from the US or Europe without any issues or criminal charges? Sounds ludicrous, I just want a baby, not criminal charges.

I bought them from my IVF clinic -- massively overcharged. They said that with a private prescription I was able to buy them anywhere (in the UK!) but there was a supply chain issue and anyway the prescription would have cost me £30... I can see that you are doing IVF in Prague, so I guess this is not an option for you?
I've had murders trying to find some but may have found somewhere in London. Yes, I'm having treatment in Prague but I'm in the UK, think the rules are the same all over Europe, I didn't see any when I was there.
I hadn't realised the classification changed since I last ordered DHEA till i read that recent post. I ordered some last month from Biovea and it arrived no bother.
I think the classification changed a while ago, but there was a transition period so that people could comply with the change. How long did it take to arrive?
I ordered mine a few months ago with ferinatal directly which is the dhea used in the clinical trials but I had it sent via a freight forwarder and then onto me. It was a faff but I ordered a large quantity to see me through. Have also bought from biovea but don’t think it was micronised.
hi lovely. be very very careful, it is a class c drug in the UK, as it is a steroid. Only buy through a company like boviva, as they would get the blame. it isn't micronised, but if you import yourself you could end up being procecuted. That's what happened to me x
Ah yes, it was your post I read. Did you get it sorted? I decided not to take it in the end; I'm too scared it'll mess with my cycle since my testosterone and DHEA levels are normal.
no the clinic haven't even commented yet. oh yes no need to take if your levels are normal, my clinic don't test, just tell you to tale it. I read however its not good to take if your levels are normal x
I bought mine from Biovea. Brand is called Life Extension. Have ordered several times along with some other things like shampoo and had no order issues. Shipping can take several weeks though.
Thank you. Yes, the poor lady is on this chat. I think customs stop a certain percentage of imports from certain countries and hers was one of the unlucky ones.
I have been taking DHEA for the last 4 years and as far as I understand this has always been the classification in the UK. I have family in France and Canada and tried to get it in both countries initially due to difficulty in the UK and, as far as I could tell, it’s technically banned for normal sale everywhere bar America. As far as I can gather the UK companies that do sell it are just importing it for you. I used a website recommended by my clinic store.pricespower.com/buy-d.... There is always a risk it could be stopped at customs and detained but I ordered the 3 bottles + 1 free each time so as to reduce the number of times I had to order and it always got to me. I also found the bulk order actually worked out cheaper than ordering within the UK but it does take a few weeks to arrive. Good luck. X
Thank you. After researching myself, over the counter sales are banned in the UK but I did find a pharmacy in London (Zen) who sell it providing you have a perscription (UK or overseas) which is helpful. It's a shame since it he's so many people.
