Finally feel like I can relax after seeing a very relaxed baby today. π. In fact baby was so relaxed the Sonographer was unable to get the measurements she needed for the Down syndrome test. We will get a blood test at 16 weeks instead. She did warn me not to be surprised if my results come back high risk due to my age .... (44) Anyway am not worrying anymore. Want to celebrate and enjoy from now on.
I cannot thank you guys enough for the ongoing support π€
Absolutely over the moon with todayβs scan am so happy and feel very very lucky ππ

Congratulations π so pleased it was all good for you. I'm two weeks away from my 12 week scan and anxious doesn't even come close, I'm terrified, but also want to push time forward so the day comes sooner...so much worry and anxiety during this time, I'm so pleased for you and it's great you're now feeling more relaxed. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy π
I'm also on catch up, 2 weeks til my 12 week scan. Time goes so slow!!!Congrats to you Hope76, must be such a relief to get to this milestone. Well done π
So pleased for you and that the scan was all positive ππΎπͺ xx
Yay! This is such wonderful news. Hope you have a straight forward and healthy rest of pregnancy lovely xx β€οΈ
huge congratulations, a big relief to pass this big milestone. I was considered higher risk for chromosomes due to me age ( will be 39 having this baby) but all came back low risk. I hope you can now enjoy the pregnancy & feel excited about the baby ( I couldnβt until I had the dating scan!) xxx
Hey hun, sorry to intrude your conversation πjust wanted to say that my clinic asked me to stop it the day before embryo transfer! Hope youβre well xxx
Thank you, can hardly believe am 20 weeks on Wednesday. Passing so quickly , my next scan is on the 16th,counting the days π
Thatβs great you are taking Ubiquinol I really hope it works itβs magic for you π€πΌππ»π
After a lot of research and even speaking to Zita West Customer Services who sell ubiquinol I took their advice and kept taking 200mg per day during the 2ww. I stopped as soon as I got my BFP π
Sorry I shouldβve mentioned I continued also with my folic acid/vitamin d throughout, still taking it now as itβs in my pregnancy vitamins from my midwife.
Wishing you all the luck in the world. Really hoping we both get good news in 16th. Keep me updated xxxx
Congratulations I hope you continue your pregnancy happy and healthy,Can I ask you when you strat taking ubiquinol200mg after tranfer(during two weeks) or before transfer and why you stop as soon as you got BFP,Apologies I'm asking you a lot.
I had FET last month today is my OTD unfortunately it was negative although I don't have any fertility issue me and husband both are healthy,we are doing IVF bc our children have mitochondria disease,I'm taking folic acid, multivitamins, vitamin d,vitamins E,magnesium tablet.
Thank you, I took ubiquinol for around 6 months before transfer. I stopped taking it when I got pregnant as advised by the Zita West Clinic customer services. Plus research which basically states there is not enough studies to say whether taking ubiquinol does any harm or not while pregnant. Itβs unlikely but as itβs a grey area best to stop. Ubiquinol is thought to help with egg quality as well as implantation so I donβt see the point anyway taking it once pregnant.
Am sorry to hear your FET failed, I had a good few failures before I fell pregnant this time...5 to be precise so I know how crap it is. Wishing you lots of luck going forward π€πΌ
Hi Hope, congratulations for the good news! I saw on your timeline that you get more or less 100% fertilisation most time. I get very low rate, and often zero fertilisation. Do you know what helps you to achieve this amazing rate?
Thank you. Yes we have never had much issue with fertilisation. My parters sperm was always deemed as normal. Have you tried asking for more tests on the sperm to see if there is an underlying issue? So sorry you sometimes get zero that is not good. One thing we did on our last ever go was out my partner on ubiquinol for a month before egg/sperm collection. Not sure if it made a difference but worth a shot as meant to help with quality for eggs and sperm.
Sure, The embryologist advised they did not pass their criteria for transfer. The grade wasnβt good enough. For example on my last cycle we had 2 embryos, 1 was top grade which we transferred. The other was not suitable at all as only divided into 4 cells by day 3. They kept it until day 5 however there was no more growth.
